Instagram hashtags are a very important strategy for the growth of brands or their profile on the platform. And yet they are an effective way to get more attention (and involvement!) in your Instagram posts. This is no secret to anyone!
Using relevant and targeted hashtags in your posts and stories is one of the best ways to be discovered by new audiences on Instagram. And that can bring more engagement, more followers, and more customers for your business.
But for the strategy to really work, it’s essential to map the best hashtags to to your audience or niche you want to post. Filling your post with countless random hashtags, rather than helping elevate your brand, can end up getting in the way.

What is hashtag?
Before getting into the subject, it is important to understand what hashtag is. They are keywords, which are always accompanied by the old (#) game symbol. Its use aims to organize and categorize photos and videos on each social network.
So in practice, if you want to see posts on Instagram about Digital Marketing, search for the hashtag #MarketingDigital and you’ll find millions of posts with this theme. Despite gaining traction on Twitter, the # are very strong – and useful – on Instagram.
How to find the best hashtags for Instagram?
The secret to whether hashtags are useful to your brand is to choose a small amount of relevant hastags. I’ve selected here the 4 best tools to help you find the best ones. See below what they are and what they do.
1. Tag O’ Matic
This app is my favorite of all time and I use since 2012. I was unhappy for a while when I moved from android to Iphone years ago, in 2014. When they didn’t have the Iphone version yet.
What I love about this app is that it is super simple to use and displays hashtags related to keywords searched.
Functions like searching for related hashtags, saving favorites and seeing search history (paid version) are available in the app with up to 3 searches per day, if you use for personal instagram is super worth it, but if you don’t want to see Ads and want to have access to the history, just paying for the app, which here in England costs £1.99.
2. IQ Hashtags
More than just a hashtag search, IQ Hashtags brings more functions. A very simple “app” with very good functions and for free, such as profile analysis, banned hashtags, search for hashtags, just registering. In the photo I signaled what you can use without paying.
Registration is required on the platform to use all functions except to check banned hashtags.
To leave as an app on my phone, I save the website on the start screen and then it looks like it’s app. ?
3. All Hashtags
The goal of the app is the same: find the best hashtags. But the difference of this application, is that it has a hashtag creator. That is, you can type or paste a text and it turns all words into tags. This function is ideal for those who need to make posts by mobile.
4. Top Hashtags
On this site you will also find a list of the best hashtags. You just need to enter the subject of your post and it presents you with the 11 most popular tags. In addition, this site also has the creator of hashtags. Saving those who make posts by mobile all the time have to change the # function on the keyboard.Just too much!
